  • Donna

    Instructor

Donna has been doing Pilates for 20 years! She recently relocated to New York after spending her entire life in Rhode Island, where she owned and operated her own studio for 14 years. Having somewhat of a type "A" personality she started practicing Pilates for health and well being. She left the corporate world in 2000 and began her love affair with Pilates. Donna trained in the Stott Method of Pilates in NY and is certified in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel. Her greatest joys have come from working with clients from all aspects of life, young and old to learn the physical and emotional benefits of doing Pilates. She believes "you can either walk through life or have life walk through you". She is excited to begin her new journey in NY and growing old gracefully as she continues in her love for Pilates. We are thrilled to have Donna as part of the Club Pilates Quaker Ridge team!

  • Amanda

    Instructor

Amanda began practicing Pilates in college when she needed to add a new workout to her weekly regimen. She had been experiencing inexplicable back pain and from everything she had heard about Pilates, it seemed like the best option. She saw positive changes in the way her body both looked and felt almost immediately. After one month into her practice, she scheduled her first Teacher Training course. Amanda has certifications on the Mat and Apparatus through Power Pilates, Balanced Body, and Core Pilates NYC. She has now been teaching for 7 years, and has found the most rewarding part of her job is knowing how much better her clients feel. "It makes my heart so happy when I hear my clients - who all have different bodies and physical capabilities - tell me how much stronger their entire body feels; how their improved flexibility and posture lets them enjoy their favorite sports and activities better." She is excited to have finally made the transition into teaching Pilates full time and to share her Pilates knowledge with the world!

  • Hadley

    Instructor

Hadley grew up on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina playing tennis, basketball and soccer year round. After high school she moved to Charlottesville to attend the University of Virginia and found herself with a gym membership for the first time. Completely bored by the elliptical and treadmill routine, and discouraged by the lack of results, her mom talked her into taking a Pilates class. Thirty minutes into her first session she was hooked! She loved the way Pilates changed and challenged her body, but also relaxed and focused her mind. Inspired and motivated by seeing the numerous benefits of Pilates firsthand, she became mat certified in 2009 and in 2010 she completed the 600 hour comprehensive training certification from Power Pilates in Atlanta, GA and has been teaching ever since. She loves helping her clients reach their fitness goals through Pilates and can't wait to start teaching at Club Pilates Quaker Ridge.

Jen has practiced various forms of movement throughout her adult life & loves keeping her mind active while exercising! Of course, she naturally gravitated toward Pilates as she found the mind & body connection a true example of moving meditation while strengthening her body. She’s studied dance for 13 years before graduating from college and worked professionally in the Fashion Industry as a product developer before becoming certified through the Club Pilates 500 hour program. She understands how to work with someone towards their goals & developing their Pilates practice to fit into their own lifestyle. • Dorothy

    Instructor

Born in Poland, Dorothy graduated from Hotel Management College. She grew up doing Callanetics – an exercise program based on Pilates. During her hotel work, she developed shoulder and lower back problems. In order to relieve this pain and stress she was experiencing, she began taking lessons at the Mindful Moves Pilates Center in Mount Kisco, NY. After several months she was amazed with the results. She was feeling more energized, stronger and free from pain. This experience made her decide to change her career. She is fully certified on Mat and Apparatus through Power Pilates (all levels). She continues to improve her Pilates skills with Continuing Education classes and Personal Training. Dorothy enjoys working with people and seeing her clients look and feel their best.

  • Gianna

    Instructor

Gianna graduated from the University of Tampa with a degree in business management. She was very grateful to have gotten the opportunity to manage a Club Pilates in Florida upon graduation as she always had a passion for wellness. Once Gianna took a couple classes at a nearby Club Pilates, she was hooked. She was in love with how Pilates made her feel and how it made others feel. After suffering from a neck injury, this is the only workout method that did not hurt her neck and actually prevented pain from occurring. She then went on to obtain her Club Pilates Teacher Training 500 hour certification as well as the Barre Above certification. After teaching classes and helping members feel good, confident, and strong, she realized that this is what she wants to do for life. While teaching classes at Club Pilates, Gianna is going back to school for Physical Therapy. She is very excited to start this new journey in New York and to continue to change lives with Pilates.

  • Lisa

    Instructor

Lisa was born and raised in West Harrison and has lived in Westchester her entire life, working as a CPA with a BS in Accounting from Mercy College. After putting her career on hold while her three children were young, Lisa returned to the workforce and quickly realized happiness was not found behind a desk. Having a lifelong passion and commitment to a healthy and fit lifestyle, Lisa was reintroduced to Pilates and immediately fell back in love with the method, especially noticing how it challenged and changed her body, improved her posture, and reduced back pain. Leading to a total career change, Lisa has completed over 600 certification hours of Comprehensive Pilates training with Balanced Body University, including mat, reformer, chair, Cadillac and all Pilates equipment. Currently she is studying for a level one certification in nutrition coaching. Lisa believes the integration of the Pilates principles along with a mind, body, spirit approach to movement is what sets Pilates apart from any other exercise discipline. Her love for Pilates, positive energy and enthusiastic teaching style along with a dedication to her own personal practice and ongoing workshops are qualities that help clients see and feel the benefits of Pilates and keep them coming back for more. She is most inspired by her dedicated clients and believes everyone is a “work in progress” and to aspire every day to be the best version of themselves. Lisa is super excited to be back sharing her love and passion for Pilates at Club Pilates Ardsley and Club Pilates Quaker Ridge!

  • Diane

    Instructor

Diane has been teaching fitness for over 35 years, starting at a fitness boutique in NYC called Body Design by Gilda. “Joseph Pilates studio was one of the studios where we attended classes and borrowed ideas from”. In 2003, Diane had 3 foot operations due to the damage she had from many years of dancing. The operations left her with a collapsed ankle and no recognition of balance and agility. “Frankly, I thought my teaching days were over”. She was sent to The Harkness Pavilion for dancer rehabilitation and it was there that she was introduced to the Pilates Apparatus. After months of therapy 3 times a week, she was able to teach once again and decided that Pilates was going to be another tool in her teaching tool-box. She is certified through Power Pilates in NYC as well as United States Pilates Association at one of Joseph Pilates original studios at Purchase College. She also holds certifications by AFAA, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, MADDOG Spinning, SCHWINN Cycle, and is a 200 hour Registered YOGA Instructor. She is an accomplished vocalist and has a BS in Psychology. Diane’s main goal as a Pilates/Group Fitness Instructor/Personal trainer is to EMPOWER her students with the tools to help them go deep and to find more strength, endurance and power both physically and mentally…… Anything is possible, reach for the stars.

After her first private, she fell in love and started training several times a week for last 8 years. After moving to Westchester in 2016 with her husband and two children, she took her passion for Pilates to the next level and became an Instructor. She received a classical Pilates training and is certified through Center For Movement in Scarsdale, NY.
